You can enjoy the title with the little timespan of here an hour and there a 40 minutes and could go for longer sessions of halve a day, depending if it's something you enjoy. There's by far less possibility to go out of the session and start a new session and be at that point of Strength you might know from achievements in Diablo.(Not sure about Godmode, haven't tried that yet.(Yes there's a Godmode!)(And you got 3 saveslots))ĭepending on personal performance you can spend a good 100 hours + on this, if you find and got the time for a 100 hours +. If it was just the enemies that need to die in a for you locked room, it would be close to the binding of isaac, since it's a lot different in speed and the dodgepattern works differently, while most enemies do not have direct contact damage, you might notice how it can be played a lot differently. The Way Dialouge progression works feels unique to me as well, that might be because of the limited titles I've played and still it's something different then any game I personally know, though I could try to create things that are similar in different games, Hades is a bit different.
The concept of enemies in a room that needs to die before progressing or surviving in rare occasions a timer to be able to progress to the next room with a promised reward in each chamber is something where I can't refer another title right now. If you combine that with Diablo, you might actually get something that could play itself a lot alike Hades, though the way the story is build and with the inbuild system of characterprogression it got its own spot in my videogameknowledge and differs a lot from the 2. (While waiting on repentance, it's horrible(I've got 100% achievements), the story is a childs nightmare and a lot of the concept and artwork is realy creepy, it's one of those games, where it's nicer to have it in such a pixelstyle instead of a wellcreated ?D modelling and it works great to challenge the own skill and capability, though models closer to "realistic" might be a criteria to willingly quit on the Binding of Isaac.)
